I needed a brake bearing cap for my Bridgeport and gave Hardinge a
call. They didn't have the part in stock and were still in the
process of transfering inventory from Bridgeport. They had not
started any new production yet but said they expected to by the end
of the quarter.
I was able to get parts from
www.hqtinc.com
The brake bearing cap was better than the original part being made
from steel instead of cast iron. I also got a spindle pully hub from
them and a knee crank handle. Both were of good quality. They
manufacture many replacement parts for Bridgport knee mills.
