Hi there to all.
All over the internet, for plasma cutters Hypertherm rules in home
made CNC's because of a non high frequency start (among other things,
like quality and $$$). I've estabilished contact with another USA
plasma maker, Lincoln, and they replay that the lincoln plasma don't
use that kind of "ignition".
Lincoln response:
... be pleased with your choice of the Lincoln Plasma cutter Pro-Cut
80. The patented PCT 80 plasma torch operates without high frequency.
This technology virtually eliminates any delay when the trigger is
depressed ...
Probably this information is relevant for others in the list that
want to adquire a heavy plasma ( > 3/4" ).
Does anyone have experience with Lincoln plasmas ?
Thanks
