Roller Screws

Here is some food for thought...

I've never seen this one before.
Are these a possible alternative to Ball-Screws?

Roller Screws: Use planetary roller screws around the main screw.
Looks like something the home shop machinist could make.
Could possibly these be built for use on Acme Threads! ?
Has anyone had any experience with these?
