hypothetical mill setup

what would be a good setup for a bridgeport type mill? for the
hobbiest/home use. Building power supply converting machine to ball
screw,budget minded(yeah right), decent level of accuracy, 3 axis
maybe 4. Here is my go.Ball screws rolled.003"/foot accuracy, mach1
software,dc brush servo's(inertia seems high on cheeper motors),gecko
drives microstepping 2:1 belt drive(at least on x&y)maybe higher on
Zed. please comment--mark
