using xBox "Steel Battalion" console for cnc retrofits

Here is an idea, I don't know if it is practical.

The xBox game "Steel Battalion" (costs around $200 I've heard)
but includes this amazing console:

I have never seen one in person, but it looks like it has
two joysticks (maybe usable for jogging), a big knob (maybe
useable for feedrate override), a big emergency switch in
the upper right, and it looks like a whole lot of other
buttons and lights.

If the thing is run off USB (or similar), then it (or parts
of it) might be useful in a CNC retrofit.
