Hi All,
I'm mounting a NEMA34 on a mini drill press and have decided to
install bronze bushings on the quill and am looking at installing
them on the downfeed gear as well.
there is not much room in the casting and I would preferr to not mess
with something that seems to be working.
A question is about grease. Since the houcing is cast iron and the
shaft is steel, would I be better just making sure I use a good
grease ? or install some oil-lite bushings ?
I am also wondering if moly or lithium grease is better ?
