Inspired by Tim Goldstein's conversion I have had go myself. I have
all he mechanics done and now just need to finish off the drivers.
I did my conversion slightly differently to Tim but the differences
are minor. I used steel rod instead of threaded rod for the stepper
mounts, I added a M6 bolt that holds the y axis plate to the
machine's base. I changed the x axis design slightly to increase the
movement after speaking with Tim and I am holding the z axis adapter
plate on with all four of the top bolts. I think my changes reflect
the fact that it is my only mill.
