yess.
1. if this is a special mill/router just for these kind of operations,
and z move should only be a zigzag regardless of the xy pattern (just
to spread tool wear over the tool length as i understand) you could even
apply a windshileld viper motor to the z axis, and some (adjustable)
limit switches to reverse motion.
2. this could really be a feature in a controller, i assume others who
try cutting sheet meatl (or wood) with routers could benefit.
