HP 7974 TAPE READER

Hi
Has anybody salvaged a HP7974 tape reader? It has what looks to be
large servo motors Electrocraft E713 a power supply that can be easily
removed as one unit but I was wondering if the servo control could be
salvaged it looks to be a complete and seperate unit from the data storage
electronics. If someone is fimiliar with this unit or has an intrest in it
before I tear it apart email me. Thanks Josh
