controller for hpgl?

hi,

could you please suggest controller sw to try for 2d cutting. (foam
cutter) by controller i mean software that would input hpgl or gcode,
and output step/direction signal on parallelport. (or some other way)

also could someone tell me, who makes mastercontrol (ez-cnc)? i have
downloaded it some time ago, tried it now, and cannot figure out it's
website.
