GECKO LOCAL CAPACITOR

I have "Nichicon" 470uf 100V with radial leads, each lead is same length. There is a gray stripe on Plastic jacket aligned with one of the leads. I'm told the gray stripe identifies the negative lead. Can anyone confirm?
