Hi Jeff,
There is a big advantage in using Normaly Closed (NC) switches.
If you accidentally cut the wire, or it comes loose, the circuit will
open just as if the switch had been pressed. This usually is a
signal to the controller to stop motion. If the switch was Noramlly
Open (NO), and you cut it, the controller would get no indication of
this happenng.
