Hi Tom.
My scales are the digital-out type and I knew the functions on the differnet pins but couldn't figure out what the bits meant. It was maybe something wrong with my oscilloscop (digital memory type) or the wiring when I analyzed the signals, I ddn't get any stable readings (different bitpatterns with the same readings on the scale). But I think I found what I needed in the Caliper_Info files.
