Dyna-Myte 2800 stepper Help !!

Hi,

I`m in a lot of trouble with my Dyna 2800. The X axis stepper motor
received a substantial hit and of course died. I called "Dyna
Mechtronics" today and the price for a used replacement
is.....$800.00.
Is there anyone on this board that has had this problem and maybe
found a cheaper substitute for the stepper : "ESCAP disk magnet
motor" stepper ? only info on the motor is the following:

1.8 Deg/step
Series 2.3 Amps
Parallel 4.6 Amps
P852-508-B-DYN

I appreciate all and enyone effort in helping me sove this mishap.
