Simple way is to just make up a solid coupling reamed to the dia of the
stepper shaft on one end and dia of the lead screw stub on other, hang the
screw on its own bearings and hang motor on screw. Then the motor is
coupled to the machine frame with a drag link. Yeah, I know this doesn't
sit well with some folks in here, but it wurked righteously for me.
