bobcad question, DXF import

This is a Bobcad R17 question. OK, I know most people are using other CAM
software, but there must be someone using Bobcad? It was purchased in a
moment of weakness...
A DXF file is imported, looks OK in the cad screen. It consists of lines
drawn in 3D, that is, they move up and down in z as they move around in x &
y. The 3D view shows that this is OK.
example: (0,0,0) to (1,2,.02)
I want the NC file to generate g code to follow the z as well as x & y, but
it doesn't, it just generates g-code to cut to a fixed depth.
There is some 3D capability in BobCad, does anyone know how to do this?
Thanks.
