Folks,
I was at the show and saw many interesting things.
But the best impression was from the EMC. Ray Henry was kind enough to give
me a long demonstration of the product. IMO, unless you are working on a tax
write off, there is no need do spend money on a controller software, because
EMC people give it for free (together with OS). It can work in a closed loop
NOW
(using Kulaga-Mauch board or Jon Elson board), also it can work as a stand
alone
DRO. It gives you cutting path on the screen plus numerous buttons such as
Jog, Estop and etc. They are working on a screw cutting part , should be
done soon.
