so far. Of course, once they were mentioned, I remembered all of their

Thank you ALL for so many good suggestions for parts suppliers. And for
so many other suggestions, too.
I don't want to put an end to the discussions -- please, keep going! My
cutting surface will be in the neighborhood of 12x18 inches, in my
latest revision of my design. Moving gantry, fixed table. I think that
this is an achievable goal, and yet still small enough to fit in my
garage/shop, easily. (Version 1 Revision .01 OK, so I'm a software
guy, and I'm already planning revisions and upgrades!) I'm going to
keep in mind everyone's suggestions to build for larger components...and
to plan improvements into the design. Excellent suggestions, all.
