I you are interested in using a Windows based controller product go
to : www.artofcnc.ca and look at Master5 for Win 98 or MACH 1 for
2000 and XP. This package takes the output from your CAM program
(Dolphin, Vector, etc) and provides the pulses from a PC parallel
port to run motor controllers (www.geckodrives.com) that will take
STEP and DIRECTION pulses. All of the software on this site will
directly import DXF and HPGL files and turn them into g-code. It
will also run g-code generated from any CAM program. The download
demo version limited to 1000 lines of code is free. Full working
