Hello:
I have located and am brokering some Sigma new surplus 3-stack NEMA 42
steppers. I now have data sheets for the basic series. The motors available
were custom in the following respects: 2.25" x 5/8" shaft with keyway,
"heavy duty NEMA mount" (square 4-hole face plate vs 3-hole round mounting
pattern).
Splashproof, 8 wire, terminal block accessible at end, conduit thread also,
about #24 pound motor.
1850 oz-in holding torque (bipolar connection), rated current 13.2 A/phase
bipolar, 9.3 A/phase unipolar, torque reduced 20% for unipolar (per
datasheet). 0.26 ohm, 2.5 mH.
Curves show performance with 10A/phase 90 V chopper drive. I mistakenly
stated in earlier post that curves showed performance at lower current, but
that was due to illegible fax. Those curves referred to smaller motors in
series.
Price $275 each plus shipping from east coast. (I'm in Michigan)
30 day warranty
Packing slips refer to 1280 oz-in...test lab ran them at 8A prior to
locating data sheets. That info will be provided too, although it has some
boo-boos like the 8A test, and winding resistance that apparently includes
the ohmmeter leads (half an ohm higher than data sheet and my own
test-probe-zeroed measurement)
If interested and want data sheets first, email me with mailing address.
I haven't tried legibility test at low enough scanned resolution to make
emailing practical, but I could try.
Looks like 14 motors available (3-1-00)
