Jeff,

Factory made CNC knee mills in the B'port size range usually rapid
in the 200 to 350 ipm range. At 1200 ipm (60 x 20 ips) you're much
faster than any of the factory made machines in that size class.

I've worked on machines that approach your speed and it can be
scary. Not much time for the operator to react in case of problems.
