Most CAM programs include a post processor. A post processor is needed to
customize the G code output to work with different machine controllers. Each
controller can have different requirements. For example on a Multicam CNC
router the Z axis requires a positive value to move the router down into the
work. It normally would be a negative value. The circle G02 or G03 commands
can be different for different machines.
