Yesterday, someone asked for some info on the emc mailing list. Here it is:
The send to address for the list is emc@...
You do not need to be a subscriber to send mail to this list, although you do
need to subscribe to receive mail from this list.
To subscribe, send mail to listproc@... with the following in the body of
the message:
subscribe emc
Also, check out my web page at <http://www.linuxcnc.org/>www.linuxcnc.org
if you
can. We are trying to create information on the EMC CNC software that
compliments the stuff on the NIST site
(<http://www.isd.mel.nist.gov/projects/emc/>http://www.isd.mel.nist.gov/pro
jects/emc/).
About a year ago, we had quite a discussion on EMC setup etc... It almost took
over this list for some time. I'm sure that some subscribers didn't really
like that. So, we try to do as much as we can on the emc list now. I
subscribe
to both lists and like 99% of the content of both.
Thanks,
Dan
