The best thing for ACAD is to look to a local community college or
school for classes.
Most all have classes for ACAD.
Otherwise the learning curve can cause premature old age.
Do It!
You will never regret learning ACAD, you will use it everyday.
AutoDesk is good for having very inexpensive "Student" versions.
