Glad to see you being so cordial. I though you quit this group after I
banned someone for posting a software piracy site URL?
I do agree that the way it is now implemented in current EMC versions is
a load of crap. Couldn't have said that better myself. I am just posting
the results I got on my machine. Maybe if I kiss a penguin first I would
get better results? I know as a fact that programs using G92 which run
perfectly on the RH 5.2 versions of EMC do not work correctly on the BDI
versions. Amazingly when I put the RH 5.2 version back on the machine
the program worked correctly again. I am pretty sure it was you that
explained to me how I would need to use an external script to reset the
fixture offsets to accomplish what I want with the BDI builds that I
previously did with just a G92.
Interesting that I have to read a study of G92 to use it in current EMC
versions.
