OT Spam / viruses - blacklists

THere is an anti-spam blacklist site (spamcop.com) that puts yahoo's
mail servers into the bad-guys list whenever some list user fires in a
bunch of spams, either deliberately or as a result of a virus or worm.
My ISP uses spamcop, with the result that a yahoo mailing to me (usually
a daily digest) is bounced back to yahoo, who then suspend my account.
We all know how unpleasant and inefficient it is to ferret thru
hundreds of yahoogroup messages, including ad pages, especially on a
26k "on a good day" dialup link.
So, if anyone else happens to suffer from this problem, I suggest you
attack your ISP and try to convince them to use a different method of
spam control.
The spamcop site specifically states that it is "experimental" and
"should not be used where legitimate mail is to be delivered".
And, if any such sufferers also use uniserve, please contact me so that
we can work together to apply a little pressure..... I'm tired of
spending hours catching up... /mark markotime at uniserve dot com
