Source for powerful 48 V supplies

I was tearing down some obsolete equipment at work today, and
found out that the Silicon Graphics Inc. (SGI) power Challenge
computers have a 48 V 50 Amp power supply in the back. (They
use "point of load" regulation to convert that to whatever they
need on any particular board.)

This is a nice, small, switching power supply, which apparently
will auto-switch for either 120 or 240 V input, and deliver up
to 2500 Watts when 240 V power is available. (You get 1500 W
or so from 110.)

These are multiprocessor "supercomputers" from the early 1990's,
and many places that used them are junking them now.

So, if anyone sees one of these machines going into the dumpster,
now you know what can be salvaged.

(oh, just to be sure this is on-topic, such a power supply could be
used for a servo or stepper motor power supply.)
