Greatest hits update

This is a post I made on cced_archive. I thought I would repost it
here. Thus far the moderators of cced haven't banish this thread, but
I would like to move any discussion to yahoo groups cced_archive. I
appreciate the patience of the moderators.

I noticed that one person has signed up for daily roundups... so I
guess I'm not really just talking to myself any more...better watch
what I say. Dave (aka tabulatordude)said there was a program that
would allow you to download a group(cced) and then search using access.
I looked into it and the author said it would be available 22 July.
This could make this stable cleaning simpler.Yahoo is a pain in the
buffer. My original idea was that these lists of "greatest hits"
already existed and all they needed was collection and organization.
If they exist none to date have been forthcoming. I have to admit i'm
a bit discouraged but not yet throwing in the towel. I saw a mention
of a cced edited archive 1-41000, I posted on cced for the author to
get in touch... nothing yet. Rome wasn't built in a day.
