AC synchronous/ stepping motor

I have a couple of Slo-syn SS222E motors that I would like to use on
my Rockwell mill. I know they can be run as regluar steppers, but is
there anything special to look out for? what would be the best way
to drive these from a PC?
The Slo-syn web site does not have any info on these motors.
