Update of a Torch Height Control (THC) for MACH2

Just a short note to let everyone know that the latest version of
MACH2 for Windows has been crafted to use an external gap voltage
sensing circuit and provide the automatic adjustment of the torch
head while cutting. Cost to build the circuit is less than 20 bucks
and combined with MACH2, it offers all of the logic and control of
commercial units costing over a thousand.

I have posted a full schematic of the circuit in the Files section
of the Master5 (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/master5) discussion
group in the folder "THC_Stuff" along with details about a floating
head sensor for material surface sensing.

I just announced to the Master5 group that any REGISTERED user of
MACH2 can get a free PCB layout (PDF, CDR and DXF formats available)
and parts list for non-commercial use (use on your personal machine)
by dropping me a e-mail. I have been working with Art for several
months to perfect the combo and I am using it on a daily basis for
plasma cutting.
