Gecko and bridgeport

I have a bridge port series 2 wih the Superior steppers. I would like
to know if the best performance is from running in Series or in
parallel. The other thing that I would like to know is the voltage
and amperage that I should run the motors at. I know I will have
different amps for series and parallel.
