Sorry to go against the grain as far as sales are concerned. I was planning to stay quiet on this subject and hope it would go away.
We all have search engines and with a little effort can find what we want off the net. Why is it necessary for some to take every opportunity to sell what they have then degrade the environment that let them do so.
I do not want to see anything for sale in this forum, this is not the purpose for which it is used. I do not have any objection to being directed to a site and it being left to me to find the description of the proposed item.
For example "I have a computor for sale that may be useful to run a DRO it can be found at **************@******.net or *******.com"
"I have large stepper motors for sale @******.net"
If we are looking for such an item then within a few minutes it can be found, if it is an email address let the vendor sort through all the spam not the list members.
I would also include that I agree to some extent with "marc" of "D.F.S." <dfs@...> in his convoluted email on this subject. I also thought this list was different and would very much like it to return to a forum where ideas and solutions are exchanged. I will be happy to share what I am trying to develope, when I have all the answers.

We had a discussion on for sale a few weeks back, and most replied that they
wanted sales items on the list but wanted them to be directly aimed at needs
