I have been using rhino for 3 years and quite happy with it. Not only I can
use it for drafting, I can use its curve/surfaces to generate toolpath for
my CNC milling, and vinyl cutting. There are also lots of plug ins that
comes with rhino. Price is under 1K. Experiences are the key to your
drafting knowledge and skill, not the version of the software. Check out
this website: www.3dcafe.com. There lots of sample of 3D software.
