Hi Scott,
I decided to communicate this here because I'm sure your email box is
overflowing.
Would it be possible to implement the I2C interface of the chip by
putting on the board a 2x3 header so that the addr can be set w/
shorting blocks ... and another 2x1 header for the I2C interface.
This could potentially allow for future expansion of the capibilities
of the unit like quadrature decoding w/ ls7266 chips from US Digital
and Digimatic in a mother/daughter card arrangement.
