[You are correct. MaxNC's own driver boards look for phase (or "pulse")
input. They also have a version of their control software (for the same
price) that outputs step and direction signals, if you want to use another
driver board. What are you trying to run?]
Being unemployed right now, I can't afford to buy anything anyway, most of
my stuff is made with junk and I end up with a lot of
small steppers, 3 phase blm, and dc motors with controllers.
