Home made cnc engraver/carver.

Good evening all,
One question I have while putting my home built cnc engraver/carver
together? Not haveing any experience with cnc what so ever.
Is this unit a good unit? ( http://www.stepper3.com/31.htm .
I purchased the unit from e-bay for $99.00 US. and was wondering more
than anything if this was going to work for me. The motors I have all
fall within specs and my power supply is adequate. Do I need anything
else? Other than my computer and software to make this unit do the
work?
