I use TurboCNC and it may or may not be the best however I love it.
Because:
A: It is cheap and you can really give it a good go before sending
off your $20 as there is no time limit etc.
B: It runs in Dos and so my mill is controlled by a 5 quid ($10)
second hand 486 laptop.
C: It is really powerful, loads of axes(8?), loads of nice stuff
built in.
I might consider EMC if I had the time or a mill worth the bother.
