Wish list

Items I'd like to see for Bill's wish list:
1) Continued work on Tom K.'s DRO software. We could add some of the DRO
features that have been discussed here; absolute and incremental modes, and
the ability to switch between them without losing zeros. Center finding,
or halving the distance from two points. Bolt circles, memory functions
for certain positions, or multiple zeros, whatever the proper term is. A
feed rate display, in/min or something. That kind of stuff, as well as user
selectable screen colors/fonts/etc...
2) As is being discussed on the EMC mailing list - a homebrew Servo-To-Go
card. This is the last expensive hurdle to inexpensive home servo CNC with
big boy capabilities.
3) Feedback control implemented into the R. Langolis version of the EDM.
This would be something that might be incorporated into EMC in the future,
or ?? Also, I sense that the electronics level of knowledge in this group
would have no-problem improving upon the design presented in the Village
Press book's published design of the EDM.
My last wish is that I could get my Tape-O-Matic running under EMC soon.
(But that has more to do with time than this list. <G>
