BDI install

Hi everybody!! I hope you can help me, I'm trying to install EMC on
my Fujitsu-Siemens Amilo-D 7830 laptop, I've already tried using BDI-
EMC 2.20, TNG and Live but anything is running.

BDI-TNG can't configure my video card (Ati Radeon Mobility 9000) or
LCD.

BDI-Live when opens stays fix and I can't do anything, only once
it opened (like a miracle :-) ) I don't know what else to do or read
about, unfortunately I'm new in linux but would like very much to get
into.
