How can you get 12 Mbit/second synchronous transfers with a PIC? A UART
won't
talk this protocol, and the CPU would have no time to do anything else.
There are
many USB chips that have the USB interface as well as a micro, flash
memory and
assorted I/O peripherals on one chip. Sure, the mouse is tiny, it has
ONE, special
purpose chip in it. Ready to design your custom chip?
