Re: EMC to be used with MasterCam or ProE [asimtec]

Hi jd! i am on holidays as soon as i join back i'd get the code that
produced these strange moves.
I dont have much knowledge about generating programs out of mastercam
or pro-e. i'd really be thankfull if someone tells me:

1. steps needed to generate programs using mastercam or pro-e
2. are there any non supported g-codes that must be not used?

and i would like to know how most people use Enhanced Machine
Controller (EMC) to run their milling machines. Do they mostly
generate programs by manual coding or do they use automated tools
found in cad softwares, to generate tool paths ?
If someone could reccomend any such software?
