This is right
The 500c/t encorder. The Gecko will count 1 pulse x 4 = 2000 pulse
you do the resolution you get 500 X 4 (quad) or 2000 pulses per rev.
The X and Y axis of my kits run a 500 CPR encoder and x 5 TPI
ballscrew is how I get .0001 Calculated Resolution.
Not knowing what you're converting you might want to stop by my web
site and look at the How To's to get a complete idea of all the steps
involved in converting a bench Mill to CNC.
