Hi,
I'm just getting started so forgive the noob questions....
I was hoping if someone could tell me if the following motors would be
too wimpy for a mini mill such as the seig/harbor
freight/grizzly/micomark type.
Motor info:
Oriental Motor Co. Vexta # PH265-04-C9. 2-phase, 1.8 degree per step. 5
VDC 1 Amp. 2.22" diameter x 2" long. 2.3" square mounting flange with 4
holes on 1.85" centers. 0.25" diameter x 0.75" long shaft. 6 color-coded
24" leads.
These are at All electronics for $15 each. I could not find them on the
Oriental Motor web site
Does anybody know what torque these motors put out?
What is the minimum torque to drive, X,Y,Z axis of a minimill?
Does any one have any low-cost suggestions for stepper motors/ sources?
Thanks in advance,
Greg
