Hi, a 5mm lead screw is still 5 pitch, and .25 to a rev is 4 pitch. Most
controls really want to know how many steps(or counts from encoder on
servo)per inch. one of my systems uses 20 pitch for z axis and a 4 pitch for
y and 5 pitch for x. I havent had any problems with that set-up. (small 3
axis mill). cul brian f.
