We are about to inherit an older laser engraver. It still works quite
well but does field engraving only. We are planning on converting it to
CNC immediately. We realize that there will be some experimenting,
testing and fine tuning. But we would like to keep that to a minimum
and get the system into production as quickly as possible. Our current
front-runner for software and controller are products from CamSoft. Has
anyone had any experiences, good or bad, with their products? Any other
suggestions for both controllers and software for laser engravers would
be appreciated.
