I agree - the rec.crafts.metalworking newsgroup includes most topics
related to machining. However, because of its wide appeal, the
traffic is more than I am able to keep up with and get anything done.

The egroup is getting busier all the time, and as it is a mailing list
rather than a newsgroup, the conversations don't thread and are becoming
more difficult to follow. Widening the charter would probably make it
entirely unmanageable. My vote is to leave it the way it is.
