I agree wholeheartedly with Bill; Keep the list as it is.
Several persons have also already commented that it is the
complainer messages that are the worst problem, not the
occasional stray or improper message.
Someone cleverly noted that if a subject is discussed with many
participants that there is an obvious interest in the subject and if
no one responds, the thread will die.
