ATC E-Stop Recovery

Does anyone know what the step by step ATC recovery procedure is for a
1986 Okuma-Howa Millac Mc4va w FANUC control? Smacked my Tsudakoma in
the middle of a tool change. I've been told that I need to open the
access panel to get to the gear and hand rotate it to pu the
toolchanger arm into the up position and re-power up and enter a
sequence of M codes to re-step throught the ATC procedure. I may also
need to change a parameter bit. Getting ready to tear into the books
tonight, thought soeone might have some insight.
