Wire EDM question:

Hello all,

Can someone tell me is there a limit to how tall (or how thick) a
part may be and be cut by a wire EDM machine? I would like to cut
small slots that are 0.012 wide and 0.200 deep into a 3 or 4 inch
tall piece of stainless and also into a piece of aluminum. Is this
a problem. I have seen 2 inch tall hardened steel cut by wire EDM
in the past. Does it matter that the material I want to cut is
unhardened?
