Greg, they'd be perfect for Gecko G201/G210 driving 2ph stepper motors with windings of 2.65V (good)
to about 13.5V (ok), with a winding of around 3.25V being best, assuming that 200VA would give the amps
you need for a foam cutter or Sherline/Taig.... put a big capacitor in there to provide for power
surges and you're off to the races! The voltage would be too high for Zylotex & LMD18245 wired series,
and probably too close to the Xylotex 35V limit wired parallel, however would be OK for (but underutilizing)
the LMD18245 (60V limit) wired parallel (31-32VDC). So Geckos are probably the most powerful & optimal
(but expensive) choice for use with these toroids, with the LMD18245 choice being workable too
